Giving children a better future through vision

35,000 free glasses and counting

For 20,000+ children in our community, seeing the front of the classroom or reading a book is a daily struggle.  The key to better grades and classroom behavior is often as simple as a pair of glasses.

Eye Care for Kids provides free vision exams and glasses to low-income children who would not otherwise be able to afford it. See if your child or student qualifies for these services to get the help they need by clicking here.

As we reach the end of the 2013-2014 year we are ready to announce some great news!

Eye Care for Kids provided needed glasses free to over 2,700 students in the greater Houston area.

This was only possible because of the donated time and services of our partner doctors valued at over half a million dollars and the time and resources put in by volunteers from the community.

Join our mission by making a donation, following us on facebook or twitter, or even signing up to volunteer!

We empower children to reach their full educational and social potential through vision. By offering the gift of sight Eye Care for Kids seeks to enable visually impaired children the opportunity to see and succeed in school so they may grow into productive members of the community.
