We are currently seeking volunteers in the following areas:
Vision Screening Volunteers: We are seeking volunteers to assist with screening school-aged children in the greater Houston area. Vision Screening Volunteers are required to become certified by the Texas Department of Health Services.
Fundraising Volunteers: We are seeking volunteers with interest in raising funds for Eye Care for Kids. Experience in grant research, solicitation of corporate sponsorship is desireable.
Social Worker Volunteers: We are seeking volunteers with an interest in helping eligible families register for CHIP/Medicaid as part of our collaboration with Children's Defense Fund. These volunteers will assist families with the application process.
